get your projects verified

To gamify the entire learning process. And to make your learning action-oriented, we have created a 15-mark system for the camp participants. These marks are based on the 15-point system.

Please read this document to understand the projects you need to make with levelZero. Nine projects will be made one by one every week during levelZero classes and few would be your assignments. All of the details are mentioned in the doc, please read it before moving forward.

We would suggest that even if you are not planning to go to levelOne, you should participate to have fun!

some rules

  • no extra points for doing it early
  • be fair, you are only cheating yourself
  • always self-check your portfolio first, as it will save you to resubmit the portfolio due to mistakes
  • you must not bug or mail reviewers to check your submission fast, this is a volunteer effort

what do we have to do?

All you have to do is, use the point-system guide and complete your portfolio while learning from levelZero.

If you wish to apply for levelOne (upcoming cohort) then please wait for the admission platform to open. You will be informed about it via mail, on discord and all social media platforms. Once the platform is open, you can submit your portfolio and get it reviwed to apply for levelOne admission.

what's the deadline for doing this?

There is absolutely no deadline whatsoever. This is going to go on forever. Whenever you join #teamtanay, whenever you start your coding journey, even after the first version of neogcamp is over, feel free to do this. We will keep opening the review window at the admission platform, where you can submit your portfolio and get it reviewed.

Whereas, if your aim is to apply for levelOne then you should start with levelZero as soon as you can.

will this help in getting into levelOne?

Yes, if you have verified projects before the application form is public, it will be beneficial for you. The levelOne selection would be at an FCFS basis and having a complete portfolio is a requirement to apply for levelOne. Hence, it is advisable to get your projects reviewed as soon as the review process opens.

You will not be allowed to fill the levelOne application via beginners route, if you do not a complete reviewed project. Therefore, we suggest that you do this if you're serious about levelOne.

is this mandatory to do to get into levelOne?

Yes, getting your portfolio reviewed is mandatory for applying into levelOne.

We understand that due to exams or some other reason you might not be able to start with this activity. We don't want to penalize you for that and hence, we will keep the review window open for few months.
